Disagree with an idea, not a person. Ask questions you would be comfortable discussing in everyday company.
Keep it safe
No racism, slurs, hateful or derogatory content, harassment, threats, sexual exploitation, explicit sexual material, or sexual content involving minors. Do not ask people to harm themselves or others.
Protect people
Do not publish private contact details, personal identifiers, targeted accusations, or invasive questions about identifiable people.
Ask fairly
Use clear questions and distinct answer options. No spam, scams, impersonation, manipulative polls, illegal activity or instructions for wrongdoing. Politics and news are welcome when framed respectfully.
Participate honestly
Verified email accounts are required to vote, like and create. One vote per account per question. Do not create extra accounts to inflate results or likes.
Review before publication
All public questions and answer options are reviewed by an admin. Private questions stay private; publishing them requires review. Admins may reject or remove unsafe content and review reports.
Seven days, with room to continue
Approved polls open for seven days. An author or admin may extend them by another seven days when activity is low or strong. Each extension is limited to once per seven days; voting always respects the displayed closing time.
Report concerns
Signed-in members can report a public question using its flag control. Reports are sent to the review desk.
